UA-UIMS

(UANGEL-Unified IMS)

The IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) is a required network node to provide the VoLTE (Voice over LTE) service on an LTE network. The UA-UIMS loads major IMS nodes in a virtualized hardware environment, and is a cost-effective IMS solution that is appropriate for small-size mobile communication networks and special mobile networks.

Key functions
CSCF (Call Session Control Function) SIP-based call processing, terminal number identification, and QoS management
TAS (Telephony Application Server) Additional call service information management and additional service call processing control
MRF (Media Resource Function) Media resources processing (call mixing, DTMF tone extraction, information broadcasting sending, etc.)
IBCF (Interconnection Boarder Control Function) Interfacing other vendors IMS/LTE network
MGCF (Media Gateway Control Function) MGW control to interface the line exchange network (PSTN, PLMN)
Integrated OAM Managing the integrated operation of UA-UIMS nodes
Key features
  • Providing the interface environment based on global standards such as 3GPP, ETSI, and IETF
  • Mounting the IMS function on virtualization-based single hardware (P/S/I-CSCF, TAS, MRF, IBCF, MGCF)
  • Only necessary nodes can be configured (plug-in type), according to the service provider’s request.
  • Providing a convenient UX with integrated OAM.
