The national project for PS-LTE (Public Safety-LTE), which is the technology based on the LTE network and used by the National Disaster Communication Network, is underway to establish a local network for the first time in the world. Many countries including the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia are considering PS-LTE as the standard technology for their disaster communication networks.
GCSE (Group Communication Service Enabler) is one of the PS-LTE standard technologies for group multimedia calls among many rescuers on the disaster site, and runs on the eMBMS system.
